What areas do you service?

We are based in Outer South Brisbane.  Therefore we service all South Brisbane suburbs and down to Coomera.

Can you help me with my Insurance Claim?

Yes. Relax Airconditioning Qld are able to carry out full inspections and provide you with a report for your insurance company to ease the stress of making a claim.

How soon can you install my new air conditioning system?

Once your order has been placed we aim to complete your installation within 3-7 working days, however please be aware that this may extend to between 7-21 days during peak season.  Keeping in mind that there is always a Christmas rush and we would recommend getting in as early as possible.  Some office closure during scheduled holidays may also change these time frames.  However definite dates can always be locked in by simply calling the office to discuss before completing online order.

What is a standard back to back installation?

A standard back to back installation refers to installing a split system air conditioning unit in a lowset or highset property, where there is a maximum pipe run of 3.0 meters between the indoor and outdoor units. Including the supply of either a precast concrete slab or a set of wall brackets and colorbond hat sections to cover pipework.  Also includes electrical with a maximum distance between the switchboard and outdoor condensing unit of 15 meters.  Five Year Installation Warranty inclusive.

Do you provide a free quotation?

Yes.  We provide a free quotation on all new installations.  Simply call the office and speak to one of our friendly staff.

What do you charge for a service call out on a faulty air conditioning unit?

We try to keep our pricing as minimal as possible.  However when inspecting a faulty air conditioning unit we need to charge for the technicians time onsite to determine the problem.  We have set standard cost no matter how long it takes.  We charge $132.00 Incl GST.  What this means is that our technician will come out and locate the issue/s.  If it is something basic that can be fixed there and then included in the price excluding parts or refrigerant we will endeavour to do so.  However if any further parts or refrigerant are required we will provide a quotation before going any further.

What do you charge for a general service on an air conditioning unit?

To carry out a general / annual service on your Split System Unit is $110.00 Incl GST and $55.00 Incl GST for every unit after located at the same premises.

To carry out a general / annual service on a Split Ducted System is $220.00 Incl GST and $55.00 Incl GST for every unit after located at the same premises.

Can I choose to pick up my order in-store?

So that we can provide you with the best prices at all times, air conditioning units purchased online offer the choice of delivery direct from the warehouse or a qualified technician will bring it on the day of installation if 'standard installation' is selected at the time of checkout.

What happens after I select 'standard installation'?

Please read our terms and conditions for the standard installation option.  If unsure of whether your requirements come under the standard installation cost please contact our office to further seek advice.  
Once 'standard installation' is selected and check out is completed one of our friendly staff will contact you on the phone number provided during check out and advise of the next available installation date.  This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks during peak season so if prior confirmation is required please contact the office before completing online check out.

Do I have to be home to receive my items?

All deliveries must be signed for when you receive them; deliveries cannot be made to PO Boxes. Therefore we require someone to be home to receive items. Unfortunately our courier provider is unable to give exact times however if there is a date that suits best please advise and we will endeavour to do our best to have it delivered on this day. 

What is the cost of delivery?

You can work out delivery costs for your purchase using the delivery cost calculator in Shopping Cart. Please keep in mind that we only offer deliveries to Brisbane and Gold Coast suburbs currently.

What happens after I have completed payment online successfully?
After your online order has been placed with us, you will receive an order confirmation via email and a Tax Invoice for proof of purchase.

When paying via Credit Card what is the "CVC"?

On MasterCard or Visa the CVC is the last 3 digits on the back of the card.
On American Express, the CVC is the 4 digits that are above and to the right of your credit card number on the front of your card.

Refund Policy

Please choose carefully as refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. If unsure we would highly recommend that you contact one of our friendly staff for further advice before completing your online order. Carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order. 
Any online fees / credit card processing fees will be non-refundable should you change your mind or simply select the incorrect item.

Refunds will be processed within 3 working days of request.

What are the payment terms?

All online orders are to be paid in full prior to delivery. 
If opting to pay via Direct Transfer please allow 2-3 working days for funds to clear.  Upon clearing your order will be packed ready for delivery.

What is the Delivery timeframe?

In some cases same day delivery may be available however if in stock typically allow 2-3 days for delivery, if stocks are low or awaiting a shipment allow 5-10 working days.
Should timeframes be any longer than stated one of our staff will get in contact with you to discuss as soon as possible.

Standard delivery is available to Brisbane and Gold Coast suburbs only.  

No delivery is currently available to Moreton Bay Islands.
